  1. In my opinion it sounds way too hot in the 5khz region. 3khz up to 10khz is too elevated, I am not sure if my unit is not somehow defective, but it doesn't sound right. Compared to an Etymotic ER3XR, the Dirac+ sounds way harsher. I cannot explain why it measures so close to Harman, while sounding so off at the same time.

    1. Are you sure that that pair is Dirac+ mk.2? As far as I know, many variation models were released, which named DIRAC, dirac+, dirac mk.2, dirac+ mk2.... and so forth.

Anyway I agree that it sounds harsher than Etymotics, especially treble.

    2. Just ordered these Dirac+ MK2s. Planning to do a 3-way comparison soon, Dirac+ MK2 vs MUIX IX3000 vs ER2SE. Just wanted to ask you, which one is your favourite single dynamic? and among the two: IX3000 and Dirac+ MK2 - which ones do you prefer ? Also, while we are here, do you think the DM100s are worth buying ? Thanks, and keep up the great work!

    3. Of course er2se. Dirac+mk2 is not smooth in the highs.
