  1. I wonder what makes it measure so differently from other Sony IEMs.

    1. It's the best Sony IEM that I have tested so far. Now the only hope is XBA-N3... lol

    2. What about blocking the vent for 755?

  4. Are these vented?

What is the effect on frequency response from sealing the vent?

    1. It has vents. I'll try that ASAP.

    2. Did you get these included with a Sony Bluetooth receiver like the SBH20? The SBH20 does come with a pair of MH755 IEMs.

I ask because I suspect that the many available cheap MH755 IEMs available are fakes when bought on their own.

    3. Nope, I bought it separately. It costs about 6$.

    4. Can you link to the seller you bought them from.

That person thinks they've received a fake one.

Can you also measure the nozzle diameter if possible please. I'd like to know what Comply series of foam tips fit them.

  5. I wonder the Sony MH755 compares with the LG Quadbeat3 tuned by AKG edition.

  8. Did you ever update your measurements with the vent blocked? I blocked mine now, it was too boomy for me, but with the vent blocked it sounds amazing, still quite punchy with bass but not as boomy I am sure it would be even closer to Harman now. Another tip: I use the Final audio E3000 tips for it which smoothens our treble even more, with the original stock tips treble is a bit too harsh for me. For 6$ a no brainer!

↑ Check here for measurements with the vent blocked. As you mentioned, bass reduced a bit.
