ReplyDeleteSo in order to maximize acoustic performance, do you think one needs to add 200 ohm resister and use spinfit tips?
But adding a 200 ohms resistor excessively emphasizes the FR 1~2 kHz.
DeleteIMO, it is better to use the parametric equalizer in this case.
Hmmm...I'd say the 1s is an improvement over 1 distortion-wise. As for the sound, I think it would be too dark/sibilant in the treble for me to enjoy :(

Yeah, they abandoned the DBA due to qc problem as far as I know. That certainly changed the overall treble signature.
