It is painful to see such performance on such a beautifully designed lovely item....But I guess the upper mid range peak is actually not very bothersome. Greak work as always!

DeleteWhat happens when you stuff some earbud foam into the nozzle while increasing the source impedance? I suspect a foam plug could tame some of those peaks by damping some of those resonances.
ReplyDeleteYes, looks like adding a piece of earbud foam affects the upper mids especially over 5 khz, but this foam couldn't reduce a peak @ 2.7kHz which is the main problem of these IEMs.
